The College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Karbala discussed a master’s thesis entitled “A biological, phenotypic, and molecular study of some fungi isolated from organic fertilizers and an evaluation of their efficiency in producing some enzymes,” submitted by student Hussein Ali Daily.

The study aimed to explore the types of decomposer fungi found in organic fertilizers and the enzymes they produce, extract these enzymes, and evaluate their efficiency through their genetic and biological composition.

The study recommended the importance of using DNA sequencing technology as a basis for the final diagnosis of fungi.
