The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, opened the fifth Jobs and Innovation Exhibition at the Central Technical University, with the participation of a number of private sector institutions.
The Minister of Education, in the presence of a group of representatives, university presidents, teachers, students and representatives of the private sector, was briefed on the presentations of scientific innovations and patents and expressed his keenness to provide the available capabilities to develop the innovation environment in universities and meet the needs of society in line with development goals.
He praised this type of specialized exhibition, which provides qualitative opportunities for different sectors to benefit from scientific research and innovations, apply them, and provide solutions to development problems, as well as giving impetus towards training, development, and cooperation with private sector institutions.
The Minister of Education stressed the importance of linking the university environment’s tracks, scientific specializations, programs and outputs with development requirements and labor market needs.
