The Council of the College of Dentistry at the University of Karbala held its seventh session for the current academic year, headed by the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Raouf Rashid Al-Tomah, and in the presence of the Dean’s Assistants and all members of the Council who are heads of the scientific branches of the College.
The meeting included discussion of many important matters, including: approving the scientific structure of the college in accordance with the actual needs of the five-year plan, in addition to discussing the college’s electronic attendance program, with attention to completing all the necessary infrastructure for its activation and approval according to the directives of the presidency of the University of Karbala.
The meeting also included a discussion of the mechanism and date of the experimental evaluation exam for dental students in the fourth and fifth stages, which is unified for all dental colleges in Iraq and is scheduled to be held before the ministerial exam, in addition to discussing the spring break period for first-stage students, as well as a discussion of graduation ceremonies for fifth-stage students this year, with an emphasis on commitment. Students should behave moderately and wear modest clothing at graduation ceremonies on campus, in a manner consistent with Karbalai public taste.
