A study at the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Karbala discussed the role of modern irrigation techniques in developing the agricultural sector – selected experiences with the possibility of benefiting from them in Iraq.
The study presented by student Ibrahim Muhammad Abdel Hassan aimed to study the most important modern agricultural technologies used in agriculture and to know the future prospects for developing these technologies.
The study concluded that using modern irrigation methods reduces the problem of water and local stress resulting from soil salinity.
The study recommended the need to work to keep pace with developments occurring in the world to increase production efficiency.
