The Continuing Education Division at the College of Education for Human Sciences organized an educational workshop on the phenomenon of technological addiction in the city of Karbala, with the participation of a number of college teachers and employees.
The workshop aimed to highlight the most important positives achieved from Internet service, and to highlight the most important problems of technological addiction.
The workshop had three axes. The first axis dealt with the stages of technological development of communication. The second axis dealt with the concept of technological addiction and the symptoms of addiction. The third axis presented the effects of the phenomenon of technological addiction.
The workshop recommended the necessity of reducing the hours of Internet use, and that children under the age of five should not use it.
