A study at the College of Medicine at the University of Karbala discussed the quality of life for caregivers of children with autism.
The study presented by researcher Ratab Ahmed Rahim aimed to study the quality of life of caregivers of children with autism spectrum disorder and the factors that could affect the quality of life in Karbala Governorate.
The study found that the level of quality of life for caregivers of children with autism spectrum disorder was low in many areas. The study also found differences in the level of quality of life among fathers and mothers of children with autism spectrum disorder attributable to variables including gender (male or female) and Occupation and the presence of chronic diseases.
