The College of Engineering at the University of Karbala organized a scientific trip to the “diesel” power station east of Karbala to enhance the practical aspects and scientific benefit.
The trip, in which the students of the first stage participated, was aimed at enhancing the students’ scientific information and learning about some of the devices and machines available at the station and their working mechanism.
During the trip, the students were briefed on the various components of the station, the mechanism of operation of the production units and electrical systems, and benefited from the engineering expertise at the station.
This trip comes within a series of trips organized by the Deanship of the College of Engineering with the aim of raising the academic level of students and improving the college’s outcomes.
