The lecturer at the College of Dentistry at the University of Karbala, Professor Dr. Ali Hussein Abd Suwailem, participated in a discussion committee for a research within the requirements for obtaining the Iraqi Board certificate in the specialty of general surgery entitled (A comparative study among surgical procedures for anal fissures treatment) by the student Muhannad Issa Manaf, and the discussion committee was formed from Professor Dr. Safaa Al-Din Salem, consultant surgeon Dr. Muhammad Abbas, consultant surgeon Dr. Laith Al-Sharifi, and Professor Dr. Ali Hussein Al-Taie as members and supervisor.
This study, which was presented by the researcher, was aimed at comparing surgical treatments for anal fissures and choosing the best surgical methods for treating patients.
