Under the sponsorship of the Deanship of the College of Dentistry at the University of Karbala, the Student Activities Division at the college organized a field visit to the Qamar Bani Hashem Foundation for Education and Humanitarian Aid in the Holy Governorate of Karbala. The college delegation consisted of a group of faculty and college staff, in addition to a group of college female students.
The field visit included conducting clinical medical examinations in the field of oral and dental medicine for a group of needy families in the governorate, along with providing therapeutic and advisory services to them, in addition to providing a workshop to teach children the correct brushing method and the necessity of maintaining dental hygiene.
This visit comes within a group of activities held by the College of Dentistry at the University of Karbala, which are directly related to community health and safety. It is part of the efforts made by the Deanship of the College to engage in community service for the honorable Karbala families, as the College, its students, and its teaching staff work to spread health culture in the field of oral medicine. And teeth for the community, as well as aiming to create a spirit of cooperation and human solidarity and to focus the attention of male and female students towards humanitarian charitable work.
