A master’s thesis at the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala addressed the effectiveness of religious influence among poets of poetry, submitted by student Maitham Sahib.
The study aimed to demonstrate the religious impact of the poets of poetry, especially since their collections of poetry are full of Qur’anic words, religious symbols, and noble prophetic hadiths.
The study found the effectiveness of the religious influence among the poets of the poem, as well as the use of Qur’anic characters and the characters of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) and the use of persuasion in their poems.
