The Department of Chemistry at the College of Education for Pure Sciences organized a seminar on the preparation and diagnosis of chitosan nanocomposites linked with some commonly used medications and studying their ability to inhibit the spread of colon cancer.
The workshop aimed to prepare drugs bound to the chitosan nanopolymer and study their ability to inhibit the spread of colon cancer.
The researchers called for attention to such topics in order to study the effect of drugs that work to produce reactive oxygen groups (ROS), which in turn lead to stimulating programmed cell death.
