The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research launched programmatic accreditation standards for law colleges in Iraqi universities within the context of national programmatic standards.
This came at the official ceremony held by the National Council for Accreditation of Colleges of Law in cooperation with the Department of Quality Assurance and Academic Accreditation in the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority.
The head of the supervisory body, Dr. Salah Al-Fatlawi, and the head of the National Council for Accreditation of Colleges of Law Programs, Dr. Nizam Jabbar, explained that the launch of programmatic accreditation standards will enhance the integrity of specialized educational programs and pave the way for institutional accreditation, and that law colleges are now invited to submit their applications to obtain programmatic accreditation.
The program accreditation standards for law colleges include six axes: (organization and administration) with twenty indicators, (legal education programs) with thirty-five indicators, (faculty members) with twenty-two indicators, (admission and student services) with twenty indicators, and (libraries and information resources). ) by sixteen indicators, and (facilities, sources of financing, and equipment) by fifteen indicators.
