The College of Dentistry at the University of Karbala organized a field visit to the Orthodontics Department at the Specialized Dental Center in Al-Harr district in the Holy Governorate of Karbala. This visit was sponsored by the Deanship of the College and the delegation consisted of the teacher, Azhra Abdul Razzaq Abbas, and the assistant teacher, Hawraa Ali, in addition to a group of fourth-year students.
The field visit included conducting a clinical examination of the teeth of visitors to the health center with the aim of diagnosing patients suffering from malocclusion, as well as determining methods of orthodontic dental treatment to achieve the correct occlusion between the upper jaw and lower jaw.
This visit comes within a group of activities held by the College of Dentistry at the University of Karbala, which are directly related to community health and safety. It is part of the efforts made by the Deanship of the College to engage in community service for the honorable Karbala families, as the College, its students, and its teaching staff work to spread health culture in the field of oral medicine.
