The College of Computer Science and Information Technology at the University of Karbala organized a workshop on the role of education in combating terrorism and extremism.
The workshop aimed to introduce extremism and the line between it and terrorism, indicating the importance of the role of the educational institution in combating it.
The workshop touched on clarifying the concept of extremism, as well as addressing the manifestations of extremism, as well as how to deal with extremism and the means that must be followed.
The participants called for the necessity of holding such workshops to enhance the role of education in combating extremist ideas.
