The College of Education for Human Sciences at the University of Karbala organized a scientific workshop on counseling interview skills with the participation of fourth-year students in the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences.
The workshop aimed to identify counseling interview skills, as they are the heart of the counseling process and occupy great importance in psychological counseling science.
The workshop included the mechanism for presenting the orientation interview, its steps, and the factors that contribute to its success.
This workshop aims to provide students with the necessary skills to apply the orientation interview, especially as they are entering the stage of employment and work in government institutions.
The workshop included four axes: the first was to define the guidance interview, the second was to explain the factors for the success of the guidance interview, the third axis was concerned with clarifying the steps for applying the guidance interview, and the fourth axis focused on the skills or techniques of the guidance interview.
