The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, held a meeting with the Council of Al-Mustansiriya University and discussed scientific research indicators and appreciated the College of Pharmacy’s obtaining international program accreditation.
The Minister of Education stressed during the meeting that the achieved scientific indicators require doubling efforts, intensifying performance, enhancing the areas of academic work responsible for the qualitative response to the goals of sustainable development, and effective contribution to the fields of scientific research at the levels of various specializations, especially health, agricultural, environmental, and technological, as well as addressing the challenges facing society.
He urged taking care of students, developing their skills, and motivating them towards advancing and completing their specializations through an environment of applied scientific research, developing international communication capabilities, and benefiting from the positive climate in universities after implementing the Study in Iraq program, which achieved a qualitative addition represented by attracting international students.
The Minister of Education listened to the interventions and proposals of the President of Al-Mustansiriya University and the deans regarding academic and advisory services, diversification of educational programs and study systems, and paths of interaction with community service.
