The College of Education for Human Sciences at the University of Karbala discussed a doctoral thesis entitled (The characteristics of soil and water and their impact on the dominance of the agricultural pattern in the districts of Al-Husseiniyah and Ain Al-Tamar), submitted by researcher Hiam Fadel Fattah.

The thesis aimed to know the effect of soil and water characteristics on the agricultural pattern in the Al-Husseiniyah and Ain Al-Tamar districts in Iraq.

The study concluded that soil and water characteristics have a significant impact on the agricultural pattern in the two districts.

The study recommended the necessity of maintaining soil fertility and increasing its productivity, through establishing a good management system, holding educational courses for farmers, and activating agricultural extension work.
