A master’s thesis at the College of Engineering at the University of Karbala discussed the behavior of hybrid concrete columns with concrete and permeable mortar in steel fibers subjected to non-axial loads.

The thesis submitted by the student Hebat Allah Abdel Amir Saleh was aimed at studying the behavior of hybrid concrete columns.

The results showed an increase in the maximum bearing capacity of the columns, the ductility index also increased, and the samples witnessed an increase in energy absorption and stiffness for all hybrid columns compared to control columns composed of regular concrete only.
