The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, announced the initiation of procedures to build an integrated university city for the University of Maysan.
This came during his meeting with the Governor of Maysan, Habib Zahir al-Fartusi, and members of its council, where he announced that the Ministry had initiated procedures to build an integrated university city affiliated with the University of Maysan according to modern specifications, which includes buildings for colleges, research centers, advanced laboratories, complexes for internal departments, and other support and service facilities.
He added that cooperation and integration between the university and the governorate represents an important step to achieve sustainable development and cooperation in the field of scientific and technical consultations, expertise, training and development programs for sectors working in the governorate, providing support and contributing to protecting the environment and enhancing community awareness.
