The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, opened the internal departments building, a conference hall, and the Olympic open stadium at the Technical Institute in Amara, affiliated with the Southern Technical University.
During his tour of the opened projects, the Minister of Education stressed the Ministry’s keenness to develop technical education in universities and their institutes because this important educational style is linked to the development movement, noting that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has provided a supportive scientific climate for technical specializations, embodied in improving quality and crystallizing training opportunities for students.
He added that the ministry is considering developing a number of technical specializations that are compatible with the labor market and the country’s development plans.
