The College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala discussed a master’s thesis on memory in the Holy Qur’an, submitted by student Haneen Falih.
The study aimed to shed light on memory in the Holy Qur’an through a semiotic study and tried to trace its concept, then trace the sources of its occurrence in the Qur’anic text, and know its types.
The study showed the intermingling of the elements that make up that living language that the Holy Book of God imbued, and made it speak with miracles, beauty, and convincingness.
The researcher tried to conceal the scenes of that language by extracting the memory, using the semiotic approach to explain what appeared from those memories in it.
