A master’s thesis at the College of Agriculture at the University of Karbala discussed the effect of spring planting dates and spraying with salicylic acid on the growth and yield of white corn, submitted by student Jaafar Reda Al-Tamimi.

The study aimed to know the effect of planting dates and determine the best date for the growth characteristics and yield of white corn, as well as to determine the best concentration of salicylic acid that can be added, which can improve the yield of white corn.

The study concluded that the March 20 date was superior to other dates in terms of growth characteristics and yield, and with less heat accumulation.
