The College of Dentistry at the University of Karbala organized a course entitled Side Effects of Nanotechnology in the Medical and Biological Fields. The course included highlighting the most important side effects resulting from the application of nanotechnology in the field of medicine and biology. The quality of production and its entry into manufacturing in all its varieties, and the side and negative effects of its use, such as its entry into cellular membranes and its penetration, and thus it works to change the course of metabolic reactions at the cellular and tissue levels, leading to an imbalance in the proportions of mineral elements and vitamins, as well as the possibility of genetic mutations when they are not present. Accuracy in its work and application. The records showed the negative effects in the field of manufacturing biological and chemical weapons and other military applications.
Among the most important recommendations is the adoption of work based on sources that are consistent with the approvals of the World Health Organization and the basic principles that are adopted internationally, in order to preserve the safety of the individual and the rest of the members of society and to protect the environment from the occurrence of any possible pollution.
