In an atmosphere filled with warmth, love, and optimism, the College of Dentistry at Karbala University held a welcome ceremony for first-year students for the academic year 2024-2025, attended by several faculty members, staff, and students in the conference hall.
The ceremony began with a verse from the Holy Quran and the recitation of Surah Al-Fatiha in honor of the souls of Iraq’s martyrs, followed by the national anthem. The students also contributed several activities to get to know each other, and a number of faculty members welcomed the students and delivered messages encouraging them to focus on their studies and urging them to exert more effort and dedication for academic excellence and to develop their scientific levels.
For their part, the first-year students expressed their gratitude and appreciation for this beautiful initiative, which reflects the college’s commitment to providing a suitable environment for them. The ceremony, which witnessed many activities, concluded with prayers and wishes for success and prosperity for the students in their academic journey in the College of Dentistry.
