The Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research, Science and Technology and the Head of the Iraqi Atomic Energy Authority, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, discussed in the Austrian capital Vienna the development of research projects in Iraq in cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
This came during his visit to the IAEA and his meeting with its Deputy Director General and Head of the Department of Nuclear Science and Applications, Mrs. Najat Mukhtar, where they discussed fields of joint cooperation between research centers in Iraq with specialists in the International Atomic Energy Agency in the fields of food security, climate change and cancer control.
In the context of the visit, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, met Mr. Bilal Nsouli, Chairman of the ARASIA Council, and they discussed joint scientific cooperation that serves specialized research in the fields of health, agriculture, education and training.
