The Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research, Science and Technology and the Head of the Iraqi Atomic Energy Authority, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, discussed with the Executive Director of the Vienna Center for Disarmament and Non-Proliferation (VCDNP), Mrs. Elena K. Sokova tracks cooperation in the field of peaceful technologies and increased opportunities for training and joint programs.
During the meeting, which took place on the sidelines of his visit to the International Atomic Energy Agency in the Austrian capital, Vienna, the Minister of Education confirmed that Iraq is looking forward to developing cooperation with international organizations and bodies to benefit from opportunities and joint training programs in the field of peaceful uses in the field of nuclear technologies.
The two sides discussed means of coordination to consolidate and enhance Iraq’s international standing and its participation in programs, workshops and conferences organized by international bodies, organizations and agencies.
