A study in the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Karbala discussed the effectiveness of the educational approach “EDGA” in improving the learning outcomes of some floor movements carpet skills in artistic gymnastics for students.

The thesis presented by the student, Hassan Dakhl Ali Abdullah, was titled “The Effectiveness of an Educational Curriculum IDEA in Improving the Learning Outcomes of Some Floor Movements Carpet Skills in Artistic Gymnastics for Students.”

The research aimed to prepare an educational curriculum using the “EDGA” model in improving the cognitive, skill and emotional learning outcomes of some floor movements rug skills in artistic gymnastics for students.

The study recommended the need to pay attention to the application of the educational curriculum using the “EDGA” model in learning gymnastic skills, the need to pay attention to the application of modern educational models, and the attention to learning outcomes and not separating one from the other.
