If the medical and dental staff or any of the people in the first or second group have a history of any allergies, they should be careful about getting a flu shot. People with severe allergic reactions such as anaphylaxis should not get the flu vaccine.
Patients and dentists who have severe egg allergy should take care to inject the flu vaccine by doing the necessary tests in a well-equipped clinic. They should also remain under observation in the clinic or hospital for half an hour after the vaccine is given. This group should remain sitting or lying on their back for up to 15 minutes after the vaccine is given.
Patients with a history of Guillain-Barre syndrome within 6 weeks after receiving a previous influenza vaccine and patients with acute or severe illness with or without fever. In these patients, vaccination is delayed until the patient’s general condition improves.
Also, patients with symptoms of corona should not be vaccinated against influenza until they fully recover.
