Grind the teeth together

Teeth rubbing or squeaking appears from one individual to another, some when angry and some when sleeping. Stridor often occurs without the presence of nerve failure or other lesion, a phenomenon also seen in otherwise healthy individuals. Patients sometimes report that others tell them that their teeth are grinding in their sleep, and pass it on carelessly without knowing the cause or trying to treat it.
