A master’s thesis in the College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Karbala, discussed the use of mint, fenugreek and their mixture in reducing heat stress in broiler chickens.

The thesis submitted by the student Ghadir Abbas Hassan came with the aim of demonstrating the effect of mint and fenugreek herbs on improving physiological characteristics and reducing the effect of heat stress in broiler chickens of Rose type, as the productive, biochemical and immunological characteristics were measured in addition to the antioxidant properties.
The study concluded that the mixture treatment was superior to other treatments in improving physical characteristics and mitigating the effect of heat stress on birds.
