In Australia, to gain a full-time, three-year undergraduate degree in Orthodontics, you will need to be a qualified dentist (completed an AHPRA-registered general dental degree) with a minimum of two years clinical experience. There are several universities in Australia that offer orthodontic programmes: University of Adelaide, University of Melbourne, University of Sydney, University of Queensland, University of Western Australia, University of Otago.[32] Orthodontic courses are accredited by the Australian Dental Council and reviewed by the Australian Society of Orthodontists (ASO).
