Dr. Mawaheb Al-Khatib, a teacher at the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala, published a book titled (Methods of Mental Education in a Contemporary Qur’anic Vision), by Dar Al-Walaa Publishing Industry, Beirut – Lebanon.
And the author indicated in her book that “the mind is a gift with which man separates from all the beasts, and it is he who prepares with it to accept sciences. Its growth is not only linked to the correct growth of the body from childhood until old age, but rather it needs to know the methods to educate it, develop it and develop it into intelligence and increase its ability to think and creativity.” “.
Al-Khatib emphasized that it is not hidden that the mind has a status with the Creator, the Almighty, as it is the angel of assignment and punishment, and also the goal of God in revealing the Qur’an to educate man is not hidden, and therefore the verses mentioned educational and other developmental and other motivating methods to enrich the mind with what enriches it.
In this book, the author sought to investigate the verses in order to extract these methods, clarify them, and analyze them in four different topics, with an indication of the examples of the verses and their narration. With the aim of enriching the developmental Arab content to educate generations in the midst of the cumulative product of human knowledge.
