More than a hundred Iraqi governmental and private universities and colleges achieved competitive results in the Web Matrix Global Ranking in the second half of the year 2023.
31,000 educational institutions from more than 200 countries around the world were classified according to indicators that measure the virtual presence of universities through their locations, marking clarity (50%), transparency (10%), and research strength and excellence (40%).
The University of Baghdad came in the center (1571), then it was followed by the universities of Diyala, Al-Mustansiriya, Al-Qadisiyah, Mosul, Kufa, Technology, Babel, Anbar, and other Iraqi universities that were indicated by the official website of the classification (https://www.webometrics.info/en/Asia/Iraq) of the Supreme Center for Scientific Research in Spain .
