The University of Karbala received the banner of the Great Prophet (may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family) from the Holy Hussein Shrine presented on the auspicious anniversary of the birth of the Savior of humanity.
The banner presented by the Youth Care Center in Ataba al-Mutahhara was received by the University’s Assistant President for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Akram Mohsen al-Yasiri, who in turn expressed his thanks for these initiatives, which reflect the extent of adherence to Islamic values.
Al-Yasiri stressed that the university and the shrine continue to follow the path of cooperation and integration in all fields, noting at the same time the university’s readiness to work jointly with the holy shrines in the scientific and research fields in the service of the city of Karbala.
Al-Yasiri praised the role of the holy shrines in commemorating the events of the People of the House, peace be upon them, by holding many events that contribute to consolidating the Islamic faith in societal circles.
