On Thursday morning, 10-12-2023, the election of the representative of the Iraqi Academics Syndicate, Holy Karbala Branch, took place at the College of Dentistry / University of Karbala, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Naseer Marza Al-Khafaji, Chairman of the Elections Committee for the Representative of the Academics Syndicate in the Holy Karbala Branch, where the elections witnessed great interaction from the gentlemen. Faculty members at the college. Professor Ali Abdel-Harr Abbas and Professor Amir Fadel Al-Touma submitted their nominations. The electoral process ended with Professor Amir Fadel Al-Touma winning the confidence of his academic colleagues. The Dean of the College of Dentistry congratulated the participants on this democratic process that took place transparently. It was high and characterized by a spirit of competition and brotherhood, wishing all the success to the winning candidate in performing his duties, with the aim of the union’s work in advancing the teaching profession and enhancing the ethics of the academic work profession in Iraqi universities, in addition to demanding and defending the rights of teaching staff.
