The College of Dentistry at the University of Karbala organized an in-person workshop entitled (Requirements for Academic Promotion for Teachers) today, Sunday, 11-12-2023, in the College’s Continuing Education Hall, where Professor Dr. Qais Habib Musa and Assistant Professor Dr. Raouf Rashid Al-Touma lectured. The workshop included mentioning the classifications of journals approved for promotion by the Ministry, during which many discussions and inquiries took place about some of the matters that must be clarified to complete the requirements for promotion.
This workshop aims to introduce the requirements for academic promotion to all ranks (instructor, assistant professor, professor) and how to calculate the points obtained from Tables No. 1 and 2, as well as to clarify the steps required and followed to submit academic promotion.
