As part of the activities of the Global Entrepreneurship Week, the College of Dentistry at the University of Karbala held a discussion panel on the huge technological boom that has occurred in computers, entitled (A Huge Technological Boom and Giant Steps in Civilized Development) in the Al-Zahra Hall in the college, in which the teacher, Dr. Karim Abbas Daoud Al-Amiri, lectured in the presence of A group of college students, and the seminar lecturer opened the discussion by saying: “What the computer world has achieved is a huge technological breakthrough and giant steps in the civilizational development that the world has reached today in the twenty-first century.”

The seminar, which was held under the slogan (A Huge Technological Breakthrough and Giant Steps in Civilized Development), aimed to introduce college students to the concept of the computer, as it is today the most important and most important device that we have come to rely on in our digital lives, which has facilitated and shortened a lot of time and effort and contributed to the luxury that is… It covers our contemporary life, and how the computer contributed mainly to the emergence and development of artificial intelligence and the field of robotics, and how it affected the emergence of smart mobile phones.

The panel discussion also included a detailed explanation about the major and rapid developments in computer technology, as man has now begun to enter the era of artificial intelligence to produce smart computers that mimic human mental and motor capabilities. Scientists’ research in the field of communications, the Internet, and artificial intelligence will not stop in order to produce smart computers that can It reprograms itself, and research in this field is based on designing computers based on a neural network known as the Artificial Neural Network, in addition to the attempt of genetic engineering scientists to produce a biochip instead of the silicon chip currently used in computers.
