The Student Activities Division at the College of Dentistry at the University of Karbala organized a student chess tournament. This tournament came within the activities of the International Leadership Week, in which students from various educational levels in the college participated. The student, Saif al-Din Ali, won the tournament – the second stage. In turn, we congratulate the student Saif. We appreciate this victory and wish him continued excellence in the scientific and sporting fields.
The supervisor of judging this tournament, Assistant Lecturer Ali Arkan Majhoul, said: “Holding this tournament comes with the aim of creating an atmosphere of competition and familiarity among students and spreading a spirit of cooperation in order to discover players to represent the university team in external tournaments, stressing the necessity of continuing sporting activities that would raise the level of competition.” Students’ scientific and academic abilities.
