The Dean of the College of Dentistry at the University of Karbala, Assistant Professor Dr. Muhannad Salah Abdel Sattar, met yesterday, Tuesday, 11-21-2023, with the top twenty students graduating from the College of Dentistry in the medical group for the academic year 2021-2022, who were appointed to the permanent staff of the college, in the presence of both of his assistants, Professor Assistant Ali Salman Abdul Amir, his assistant for scientific affairs, and Professor Dr. Ayed Hamid Hassan, his assistant for administrative affairs, as well as in the presence of Professor Muhannad Qasim Al-Taie, director of administration at the college.
The meeting included welcoming the new teaching assistants and congratulating the high results they had achieved, which culminated in success and their appointment to the college as teaching assistants based on their distinguished experience in teaching students in the other stages. The Dean pointed out during his meeting the necessity of making diligent efforts and persistent pursuit in the service of our college and the educational process in our beloved country, and that they are role models. They are role models for the rest of the students in terms of hard work, diligence, and academic progress.
Professor Dr. Ayed Hamid Hassan, in turn, welcomed the new teaching assistants and offered them congratulations and blessings. He gave them a brief overview of the academic work in the college and the rules of discipline for teaching assistants. He explained to them their future role in supplementing medical education in the field of dentistry, as they are future leaders. The new teaching assistants expressed their great joy and ambitions. The extent of their keenness and great desire to practice academic work, and the meeting ended with them dividing into the scientific branches of the college and taking a souvenir photo for the first working day of their academic career.
