A doctoral student, Zahraa Shakir Mahmoud, discussed her thesis tagged “Evaluation of some immunophysiological parameters in women with hypothyroidism” in the College of Science at the University of Kufa.
The aim of the thesis was to study the relationship between some modern physiological and immunological parameters and the functional hormonal disorder of the thyroid gland within a sample of women who suffer from a defect in that gland.
The results of the thesis indicated that there is a correlation and impact of thyroid hormone disorders with these parameters, which may interfere with other body functions and thus predict pathological and systemic complications.
