A doctoral thesis at the College of Education for Human Sciences at the University of Karbala dealt with the mechanisms of revealing meaning according to the hadith scholars in the method of interpreting the Qur’an through the Qur’an, presented by researcher Ammar Abdel Abbas Aziz.

The thesis included an introduction and four chapters. The first chapter was titled (Mechanisms of Semantic Relationship Specification), while the second chapter was labeled (Mechanisms of the Lexical Level), and the Third Chapter was labeled (Mechanisms of the Syntactic Level), while the Fourth Chapter was titled (Mechanisms of Logical Knowledge).

The thesis concluded the diversity of mechanisms of modern interpreters who rely on the Qur’an itself to understand its meaning.
