The Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Karbala held a course entitled Dentistry for the elderly
In the presence of Assistant Professor Dr. Muhannad Salah AbdulSattar, Dean of the College, and with the participation of my teachers and students
The three-day course, which was delivered by the teacher Dr. Thaer Qassem Ali, the teacher Aseel Abdul Amir Radi, and the assistant teacher Russell Nathiq Turkish, included an introduction to dentistry for the elderly and the classification of the elderly auditors according to their health, psychological and social status.

The course dealt with the most important changes that a person experiences with age, in terms of physiological, health and psychological aspects
And ways to provide treatment for the elderly, taking into account the health, psychological and functional changes as a result of age
It aimed at the necessity of diagnosing and finding appropriate treatment for the elderly according to age changes and for different specialties.
