The results of the Web Matrix Global Ranking recorded the presence and competition of eighty-two Iraqi public and private universities in the second half of the year 2021. According to (http://www.webometrics.info/en/Asia/Iraq).

In this regard The President of the University of Karbala, Prof. Dr. Basem Khalil Al-Saeedi, the respected, explained that our university ranked 11th among (82) Iraqi public and private universities, and a sequence of (3499) globally, and an advance from the previous year, where it was ranked (23) locally. With this achievement, Mr. President of the University presented Congratulations and blessings to everyone who contributed to this advanced scientific achievement.

And that the Web Matrix classification is affiliated to the Higher Center for Scientific Research in Spain, issued every semester and depends on indicators that measure the virtual presence of universities through their sites, indicating clarity (50%), transparency (10%) and strength and excellence of research (40%).
