❄️ What is laser teeth whitening?
Teeth whitening is a simple and conservative way to beautify a smile and reduce tooth discoloration, as whiter teeth can make a person appear younger.
This procedure is carried out entirely within the dental clinic and includes applying a concentrated whitening gel to the teeth and then using a laser to heat it, which gives rapid whitening of the teeth.
❄️ Steps to perform laser whitening:
1️⃣ The dentist places a plastic or rubber guard in your mouth to keep it open
2 ️⃣ Put a protective layer on the gums to protect them from the whitening gel and prevent irritation or burning
3 ️⃣ Apply the whitening gel carefully, and activate it using a laser so that the gel turns into foam, which means that it works to remove stains from the teeth and whiten them.
❄️ Side Effects:
Laser teeth whitening is a safe and effective procedure that is unlikely to cause serious side effects but may cause temporary discomfort.
Tooth sensitivity and slight gum irritation are the most common side effects. They are usually short-term but can be severe in some people
An allergic reaction is also possible.
🚫 To prevent side effects, avoid hot and cold food and drinks for a few days after the procedure
🚫 Pregnant and breastfeeding women are not allowed to undergo laser teeth whitening (or any other form of teeth whitening).
❄️ Dental care after whitening:
After the laser teeth whitening session, wait at least two hours, then you can eat foods that do not leave stains on the teeth, and avoid dark-colored foods, coffee, tea, and soft drinks for at least 24 hours.
