The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, received the Ambassador of the Republic of Yemen in Baghdad, Mr. Al-Khader Ahmed Marmash, and they discussed prospects for cooperation and cultural and academic exchange between the two countries.

During the meeting, the Minister of Education, in the presence of the Director of the Scholarships Department, Dr. Hazim Baqir Taher, affirmed the readiness of Iraqi universities to receive international students within the Study in Iraq program, pointing to the provision of logistical requirements related to the university environment and enabling students to fulfill the scientific requirements for all available disciplines.

In turn, His Excellency the Ambassador of the Republic of Yemen praised the initiative launched by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, to provide scholarships for international students, and the response of Iraqi academic institutions to the paths of coordination and cooperation with countries in the region and the world.
