The Journal of Al-Kindi College of Medicine at the University of Baghdad achieved an important achievement by entering the Scopus Ingestion, to be the sixth journal of the University of Baghdad that made its way to the global ingestion.

The admission of the Al-Kindi College Journal to the Scopus container was announced on the thirteenth of May 2023, after completing the required steps to enter the container, which was preceded by the Iraqi Journal of Agricultural Sciences, the Baghdad Journal of Science, the Iraqi Journal of Science, the Iraqi Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences, and the Journal of the Museum of Natural History.

In this context, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research confirms its adoption of a fixed course of procedures and timings to complete the entry of Iraqi scientific journals in universities into global containers, in conjunction with the increase in the number of journals included in containers to eighteen, which are the Iraqi Journal of Applied Physics, the Basra Journal of Agricultural Sciences, and the Iraqi Journal of Veterinary Sciences. Babel Medical Journal, Iraqi Journal of Science, Baghdad Journal of Science, Iraqi Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Iraqi Journal of Agricultural Sciences, Journal of Iraqi Natural History Museum, Karbala Journal of Modern Sciences, Iraqi Geological Journal, Tikrit Journal of Engineering Sciences, Iraqi Journal of Computer Sciences and Mathematics, Kufa Journal of Agricultural Sciences, Iraqi National Journal of Earth Sciences, and Anbar Medical Journal And the Iraqi Journal of Electrical and Electronic Engineering and the Journal of Al-Kindi College of Medicine, in addition to increasing the Iraqi scientific publishing balance index and reaching more than one hundred and eight thousand scientific research in Scopus and Clarivate.
