The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, discussed with his Saudi counterpart, Youssef bin Abdullah Al-Bunyan, the prospects for cooperation between the two countries in the fields of university education and its academic programs, and the exchange of experiences.

The two sides reviewed the coordination tracks, including the signed memorandum of understanding dealing with joint educational programmes.

They discussed the twinning project of four Iraqi universities with their Saudi counterparts, and scholarship programs that include the visit of 100 researchers annually and the implementation of joint training courses and workshops in the areas of programmatic and institutional accreditation.
