The College of Dentistry at the University of Karbala organized a course on tumors: their definition, types and methods of spread, with the participation of a group of faculty and staff from inside and outside the college and in the continuing education hall.
The second day of the course included benign oral cancer and oral squamous cell carcinoma. The lecturer touched on the causes of oral cancer and the factors that increase the risk of infection.

The aim of the course, which was lectured by the teacher, Dr. Raed Razzaq Al-Khafaji, is to raise awareness about ulcers and tumors that affect the area of the mouth, face and jaws, and to review in the event of the appearance of the symptoms mentioned for the purpose of early diagnosis of oral cancer in order to increase the rates of recovery and reduce the physical and psychological complications that it causes.
