Some patients undergoing corticosteroid therapy and chemotherapy are not good candidates for dental implants. Also, people with osteoporosis who are undergoing osteoporosis-related treatments, and people who are deficient in calcium, are not good candidates for a transplant. Because the probability of dental implant success for this group of patients is low. The risk of dental implants for these patients is very high.
