The President of the University of Karbala, Dr. Basem Khalil Nayel, announced this morning, Sunday 7/16/2023, the start of the implementation of the (Riyada) initiative launched by the Prime Minister, Mr. Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, in the presence of the President of the University of Baghdad, Dr. Munir Al-Saadi, and the assistants of the President of the University of Karbala for administrative and scientific affairs, Dr. Akram Al-Yasiri, Dr. Najm Al-Janabi, and the deans of the faculties at the University of Karbala.
The President of the University, Dr. Bassem Khalil Nayel, expressed his readiness to provide the necessary support for the success of this initiative by overcoming obstacles, and confirmed the opening of eight training centers at the present time, expressing the university’s intention to open two additional centers in early September, in order to accommodate two thousand and fifteen trainees out of a total of eight thousand. Currently training in Karbala.
And the official of the Rehabilitation and Employment Division at the University of Karbala, Maher Hassan Kazem, stated that the participants in the courses will be introduced to the idea of ​​the project, the labor market, how to deal with competitors, economic feasibility and the development of ideas, pointing out that the main goal of the initiative is to reduce existing levels of unemployment and provide real job opportunities for trainees, explaining The mechanism for participating in the courses is very simple and takes place through registration in the application (trainee initiative) via mobile phone, in addition to providing transportation fees for the participants.
